Before we meet again, we would like you to carry out a very short activity:
1. Practise positive and negative body language skills

Try practising in front of the mirror or on your own
or
Try asking a friend or relative to let you practice in front of them, so that they can tell you how well you do positive and negative body language.
Activity
2. Try practising your positive social skills in public
Choose one positive form of body language, (for example smiling) and one positive talking skill (for example starting a conversation or active listening). Try these out on anyone you see during your day and see what response you get.
Choose one negative form of body language, such as avoiding eye contact and note the reaction in the other person.Note down your experiences of doing this task in your journal.
